    What are we looking for?The Admin Specialist shall possess an advanced level of administrative experience with the ability to perform administrative type functions within CVM's Talent Development Staff.

    The individual shall be able to complete routine and non-routine assignments/tasks in a timely manner.

    The individual shall be able to perform independently, under pressure, manage multiple tasks/assignments, and adapt to an environment of quick response activities/tasks.

    Punctuality and reliable attendance are crucial. The individual shall have experience of working in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented office setting. The individual shall be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint. The individual shall also be extremely proficient.

Strong communication skills are critical. Experience working with a learning management system such as SABA would be preferred but not required.

    Maintain FDA's Learning Management System for CVM's Talent Development StaffServe as the main processor of OPM SF-182 Forms for external training for the SF-182s received per yearProvide Learning Management System (LMS)

    Support for the courses offered internally per yearProvide administrative support for internal classesAssist with tracking/reporting mandatory trainingUpdate spreadsheets/databasesUpdate the CVM's Talent Development Learning Center (TDLC) Intranet Site by posting 508 compliant documentsAssist with the implementation of the TDLC Leadership LibraryCreate Standard Operating Procedures and Job Aids to document processesOther administrative support duties as assignedThis is you:
    Strong communication skills are critical.
    Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
    Ability to provide tactful and courteous telephone support and customer service.

    Ability to operate office equipment/machines such as photocopier, shredder, scanner, fax machineKnowledge of computer software and programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

    Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and required formats sufficient to recognize and correct errors in various types of documents.
    Demonstrates ability/experience to work in high level office setting.
    Ability to manage multiple task-priorities.

    Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools.

    Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces.

    Please be aware that at the time a date is determined to return to the worksite, the requirement of this position may be to report in person to the work location.
