    Position Overview: Are you ready to take your property accounting career to the next level? We're seeking a talented Senior Property Accountant to lead our financial operations and drive strategic initiatives for our diverse portfolio of properties in Somerville. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, leverage cutting-edge technology, and make a meaningful impact on our business and the communities we serve.

    Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all aspects of property accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting.
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing insights and recommendations to management.
    • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
    • Collaborate with property managers and leasing teams to optimize property performance and maximize revenue.
    • Ensure compliance with lease agreements, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
    • Lead process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
    • CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.
    • 5+ years of property accounting experience, with a focus on commercial or residential properties.
    • Strong understanding of property management accounting principles and practices.
    • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
