    Description

    Summary

    Join our team at Jinx, the fastest-growing pet food brand. We're seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to oversee all aspects of logistics and supply chain operations. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth flow of goods from suppliers to customers, optimizing transportation processes, and maintaining accurate inventory records.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinate Transportation and Logistics: Manage inbound and outbound transportation activities, including freight management, route optimization, and carrier selection, to ensure cost-effective and efficient shipping operations.
    • Drive Operational Excellence: Exceed On-Time In-Full (OTIF) and Supplier Quality Excellence Program (SQEP) goals to ensure exceptional service levels and customer satisfaction.
    • Manage Deductions and Chargebacks: Handle deductions and chargeback processes across all retail partners, ensuring accurate and timely resolution.
    • Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze supply chain data, generate insightful reports, and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making and planning initiatives.
    • Warehouse Management: Issue transfer orders to warehouses using the ERP system and maintain strong relationships with warehouses, freight brokers, and vendors to optimize inventory management.
    • Order Fulfillment: Oversee order fulfillment for our Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) channel, ensuring efficient picking, packing, and shipping processes to meet customer delivery expectations.
    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including product, sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain activities with business objectives and support product launches.
    • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous process improvements and develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels across multiple warehouses and optimize inventory levels to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
    • Special Orders: Manage end-to-end process for marketing and quality check samples.
    • Problem-Solving: React quickly to shipping challenges and develop innovative solutions to overcome obstacles and ensure smooth operations.

    Qualifications

    • Los Angeles or Austin-based is preferred, but open to remote
    • Prior operations experience at a fast-growing CPG brand; Startup experience is a plus
    • Proven experience in coordinating transportation and logistics operations, optimizing routes, and selecting carriers.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence by exceeding OTIF and SQEP goals, ensuring exceptional service levels, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
    • Proficiency in managing deductions and chargeback processes across retail partners, with a focus on accuracy and timely resolution.
    • Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to generate insightful reports and provide actionable recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
    • Experience in warehouse management, including issuing transfer orders using ERP systems and optimizing inventory management.
    • Previous involvement in overseeing order fulfillment for D2C channels, focusing on efficient picking, packing, and shipping processes.
    • Excellent collaboration skills, working effectively with internal teams to align supply chain activities with business objectives.
    • Proven track record in driving continuous improvement initiatives and developing SOPs to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to react quickly to shipping challenges and develop innovative solutions.
