Position Title and Summary
A
Laborer is responsible for ensuring that the site is maintained, clean, and in good order.

Reports To
Operations Supervisor

Responsibilities

Help the leadership team with a variety of tasks that support the efficient functioning of the operation
Keep work area and all surrounding areas clean
Report all unsafe work conditions or equipment issues immediately to supervisor
May be responsible to attend to the outside perimeter of the facility, performing various clean up tasks
Attend and participate in safety meetings
Wear required personal protective equipment at all times
May perform janitorial duties, as requested
Perform other job duties as assigned

Qualifications / Knowledge / Critical Skills

High school diploma preferred

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Requires working in dusty and noisy indoor and outdoor conditions
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; more than 50 pounds requires asking for a "team lift"
Requires working in a physical environment that will expose employee to extreme weather conditions
Requires working for long periods of time while standing; may also frequently bend, squat or go up and down stairs or walk along platforms
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Will work around heavy equipment that may move in and out of the area; must have awareness of the surrounding heavy industrial environment
