    Description

    Software Test Engineer

    Why/Need: They are adding headcount. They are open to C2H or Direct Hire. Please include the hourly rate and the salary expectations in your write-ups.

    Team Makeup and Culture: Small but fast-paced team. Work Hard, Play Hard. This is a diverse team that has had personalities clash in the past, but they have worked that out and grown together. This person needs to be able to deal with multiple different personalities.

    Salary: $85,000 to $105,000 plus bonus and benefits (some flex for the right candidate)

    Contract Rates: If the candidate choose to go this route, this will be a 6-month contract to hire.

    PR: $53/hr to $65.62/hr

    Onsite/Remote: Hybrid, One day onsite per month.

    **They must be local to Colorado - preferably Denver Metro or surrounding areas.

    Years of experience: 4 to 7 years of experience.

    Must Haves:

    • 4-7 years of manual testing exp. (strong understanding and knowledge of manual testing)
    • Strong documentation skills
    • Excellent Communicator (written and verbal skills)
    • Knowledge and understanding of SQL( they need to be able to create SQL Queries)
    • They need to be a humble but confident team player who is able to deal with diverse personalities. (Someone who can handle difficult situations/conversations and move forward)

    Nice to Have:

    • Automation framework Exp. (selenium would be preferred) they use Ranorex as well, which sits on top of selenium
    • Java Script or C# Experience is a plus
    • Any certifications, especially CTFL or TTAC, would be a huge plus.(Christine wants the whole team to be certificated in CTFL eventually)
    • Mortgage or Financial Services Experience (understanding the mortgage process with rates and closing/posting closing, not just that they own a house)

    Day to Day:

    • They are moving to a new LOS system and will be doing XML mapping, SQL mapping, api's, and testing the new system
    • Plan, write and execute automated/manual test cases/test scenarios based on user stories for an AGILE team.
    • Document defects in TFS tracking system and execute appropriate tests on corrected defects.
    • Work independently with AGILE teams and other technical groups to communicate and resolve project issues.
    • Test all functional requirements for the AGILE teams including but not limited to Database validation/mapping, APIs, XML, Business Event triggers and familiarity with Loan Data Web Services.
    • Design manual and/or Automation test cases/test scenarios to evaluate each software product based on user story requirements and functional aspects of the software specifications.
