Are you a passionate Special Education Teacher seeking an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with developmental disabilities? Soliant Education is currently seeking a dedicated individual to fill a full-time temporary substitute position as a Special Education Teacher in the Woburn, Massachusetts area. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to work with a small caseload of middle school students in a separate Special Education program.

Position Details:

Position Type: Full-time temporary substitute position (37.5 hours/week).
Duration: ASAP through April 31st, 2024.
Location: Onsite in Woburn, MA.
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:15 am to 2:15 pm.

Caseload Details:

Grade Level: Middle School.
Number of Students: 6.
Focus: Students with developmental disabilities.

Accepted Certifications:

Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (MA DESE) Licensed Moderate or Severe PK-8 License.

Primary Duties:

Work within a separate Special Education program tailored for students with developmental disabilities.
Focus on fostering communication skills, life skills development, and behavioral regulation techniques.
Collaborate with other educators and support staff to provide a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and adapt curriculum to meet the diverse needs of students.
Provide ongoing assessment and progress monitoring to ensure student growth and achievement.
