    Job Summary:


    The primary responsibilities of the Associate Director, Tax includes all areas of the corporate tax function including compliance, audits, reporting and research.

    Major Responsibilities/Activities:

    • Preparing global corporate income tax provision schedules
    • Preparing tax related financial statement information
    • Maintaining tax reserve schedules
    • Compiling, analyzing and reconciling financial information included in global corporate income tax provision
    • Drafting accounting entries to update income tax accounts in the general ledger
    • Liaising with outsourced providers in foreign jurisdictions
    • Researching tax implications of business activities for federal, state and local, and foreign income tax purposes
    • Developing financial models to analyze potential implications of new legislation or changes to existing business activities
    • Drafting memos to document tax positions and policies
    • Compiling, analyzing and reconciling financial information to tax returns
    • Preparing and providing work papers to outsourced compliance provider for federal, state and local and foreign income tax returns
    • Reviewing completed income tax returns prepared by outsourced providers
    • Calculating and remittance of periodic estimated tax payments for federal, state and local, and foreign jurisdictions
    • Maintaining the tax calendar
    • Reviewing sales and use tax returns
    • Responding to information document requests from federal, state and local tax authorities
    • Compiling transfer pricing documentation
    • Preparing periodic earnings and profits calculations to estimate and determine the proper tax reporting of corporate distributions

    Minimum Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Masters in Tax preferred
    • Five or more years of prior experience in corporate tax
    • CPA certification required
    • Experience in public accounting in tax a plus
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong teamwork and analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Demonstrates inclusive behaviors in support of a culture that values diverse perspectives
    • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
