Position Description:

The Director - International Tax will report directly to the Director, Tax Operations, located in Rahway, NJ.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Responsible for preparation and review of US international tax compliance forms and disclosures (Forms 5471, 8858, 8865, 1118, 8991, 8992, 8993)
  • Responsible for US international tax calculations, including but not limited to Subpart F, GILTI, FDII, FTC, BEAT, 163j, 986, and 98
  • Advise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for Pillar 2 readiness,
  • Assist with ASC 740 review,
  • Responsible for countrybycountry reporting and filing of Form 8975 and Schedule A
  • Ensure timely compliance for international requirements including, FBAR, FATCA and Pillar 2 reporting,
  • Assist with crossborder structuring and planning to support various business initiatives, including analysis and modeling for tax impacts,
  • Develop dividend planning opportunities to repatriate cash in a taxefficient manner and support Treasury for cash management,
  • Prepare and review responses to the IRS on audits,
  • Complete special assignments and projects as assigned by management,
  • Monitor relevant international legislative and regulatory changes and its impact on the Company's effective tax rate and reporting,
  • Implement and manage automated processes and solutions, aiming for process efficiencies.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant international tax compliance experience
  • Advanced degree (MS in Taxation or CPA)
  • Proficient understanding of ASC 740 related to international tax matters and its impact on the effective tax rate,
  • Strong research, analytical, organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized and initiativetaking with strong intellectual curiosity and willingness to take ownership of complex problems,
  • Excellent collaborator with good people skills,
  • Prior management experience with a strong ability to impart knowledge and develop team members,
  • Advanced Excel skills required to support compliance work, review, and model tax analysis,
  • Technology and tax compliance software experience (Corptax, HFM, SAP, SmartView).
