Nurse Practitioners (NPs) seeing patients under their supervision and will be responsible for reviewing patient charts upon completion of visits.
This role will require a part-time commitment and can be supervised remotely (preferably hybrid) if you are located in the State of FL.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversight of Patient Care:
Provide medical supervision for Nurse Practitioners, ensuring they deliver high-quality care to patients.
Chart Review:
Review patient charts to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with medical standards and regulations.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with all relevant state and federal regulations, including those specific to the practice of Family Medicine in Florida.
Quality Assurance:
Establish and maintain quality assurance processes, providing feedback and guidance to NPs to enhance patient care.
Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers, administrative staff, and stakeholders to ensure smooth clinical operations.
Training and Development:
Provide mentorship and training to NPs and other healthcare professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
Patient Safety:
Ensure that patient safety is prioritized at all times, addressing any issues or concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
Active medical license in the State of Florida, with a specialization in Family Medicine.
Previous experience as a Medical Director or in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements in Florida.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, especially in chart review and quality assurance processes.
Ability to work under escrow and understand its implications for clinical operations.
