    Description

    Job Role: Director of Medical Staff Service

    Job Type: Full Time ( Rotating weekends )

    Location: Tallahassee, FL

    Job Description:

    ● Bachelor's Degree required

    ● Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical staff setting required

    ● Current Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified

    Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) with the National Association Medical Staff

    Services is preferred

    ● Knowledge of State, Federal, and JCAHO regulations. Previous credentialing and

    management experience in a healthcare setting preferred. Working knowledge of The

    Joint Commission accreditation process and standards, health care and credentialing

    industry, regulatory and legal requirements and other national standards preferred

    ● MUST HAVE ACUTE HOSPITAL CREDENTIALLING EXPERIENCE

    ● MUST BE A DIRECTOR

    Additional Information:

    ● FTEs : ___0_

    ● Must have 5+ years credentialing within the Hospital setting

    ● Manager level experience is required, Director level preferred

    ● This role will be credentialing the whole hospital

    ● Experience with Joint Commission is a PLUS

    ● Bachelor's Degree Required

    ● Reports to CMO

    ● How long has this role been open? 48 days

    ● Are there any internals being considered at this time? 0

    ● Must obtain Certified Professional Medical Staff Management (CPMSM) and/or Certified

    Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) within 6 months of hire if they do not already
