The Opportunity
GIPHY Pro represents a new era for GIPHY, where we are building a new line of revenue rooted in providing high value to any of the thousands of apps that natively integrate the GIPHY API.
GIPHY is seeking a Director of Enterprise Sales to build and lead the GIPHY Pro sales team, responsible for securing revenue from our platform partner and developer network.
The role will combine sales leadership, data-driven planning and selling, new market penetration, and market positioning acumen with an understanding of the technical, execution-oriented, and market-driven considerations of the GIPHY platform.
The Day To DayOversee the entire sales cycle to meet quarterly revenue targets including creating effective account plans, building and maintaining a pipeline of new business, and forecasting partner growth and new opportunities
Manage end-to-end on-boarding of new API partnership to ensure successful and timely launch
Develop account plans, strategies and pitches to secure new business, and deliver sustainable YoY growth to existing accounts.
Grow and maintain long term relationships with key strategic partners, growing their business through QBRs, insights and new touchpoints for GIPHY.
Refine the GIPHY Pro pitch, optimizing our messaging and outreach through verticalized expertise, partner feedback and iteration.Drive and manage feedback loop between Product, Sales, and Clients to enhance the sales process and partner pitch as well as to bring market insight back to product team
Partner with Shutterstock BD Sales team for joint sales efforts
Build case studies with current partners to showcase integration wins
Recruit, hire, and mentor sales staff to achieve maximum revenue potential
Become a culture leader for GIPHY, contributing to a positive team culture and GIPHY overall
What You'll Bring To The Role
7+ years experience building and running a healthy, results driven sales team
Knowledge and experience with positioning and selling technical products with an understanding of how to compromise on technical constraints with clients and internal stakeholders
Strategic approach to developing the customer, looking beyond short-term targets to build a pipeline for long-term growth
Ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with internal stakeholders to achieve shared business goals
Experience designing, implementing, managing, and administering Salesforce and other internal processes to ensure smooth operations

The Pay Range For This Position Is Below
$300,000-$330,000 OTE per year in New York
Note:
Commission-eligible roles are expressed as on-target earnings (base and commission). Non-commission roles are expressed as base salary only but are also eligible for annual incentives.
