    In this role, you will use data to build a bridge between user experience and engineering systems, guideengineering roadmaps, and collaborate ongoals around building a solid product foundation.

    This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.


    What You'll Be Doing:
    Leverage data to understandhow system availability, reliability, performance, and efficiency impacts user experienceDesign and evaluate experiments to help teams quantify impact and inform future iterationDesign and surface metrics and frameworks to guidedecision makingDevelop new techniques, datasets, and tools that will enable answering previously unanswered questions and discovering new areas of opportunityDesign and maintain scalable data solutions that can be leveraged across multiple teamsEstablish partnerships with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, Research, Design, Sales, and MarketingTeams we are currently hiring for:

    Creation Engine:

    Creation Engine is a platform team thats work on some of the core technologies that power our real time, browser-based Figma Design and FigJam products.

    This team focuses on improving the performance and quality of our products, as well as building scalable tools that allow other feature teams to build performant and reliable features.

    The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working closely with engineering teams and has a strong track record of using data to influence strategy.


    We're looking for someone with:
    5+ years relevant work experience in Analytics, Data Science or Software EngineeringFluency in SQLProficiency in Python, R or similar scripting languageExperience in distributed data processing systems(Hive, Redshift, Presto, Snowflake, etc)

    Firm knowledge around statistical methods and experiment designExcellent judgment and creative problem solving skillsA self-starting mindset along with strong communication and collaboration skillsRead more about our team:

    Pay Transparency DisclosureIf based in Figma's San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below.

    Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.

    The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified.

    For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.

    Annual Base Salary Range (SF/NY Hub):
