    Job Description

    What you will do

    You will be joining a dynamic team of experienced DBA's to ensure efficient and effective database solutions are maintained and deployed in a timely manner at U.S. Bank in cloud and on-premise. You will participate in the design, configuration and implementation of database solutions and enhancements. Support and research problem resolution extending from core database disciplines to applications. Participates and contributes enhancements for database performance, reliability, scalability, and capacity. Troubleshoots and resolves issues within area of expertise.

    Basic Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
    • At least 7 years of experience within a total information technology (IT) environment
    • At least 7 years of experience with the design, development and support of technology infrastructure

    Preferred Skills/Experience

    • Strong hands on experience working with Oracle databases, Goldengate and Data Guard.
    • Experience writing PL/SQL, SQL tuning, LINUX and shell scripting skills
    • Strong knowledge of database backup and recovery
    • Experience supporting Exadata (HCC, networking and Patching)
    • Database infrastructure in OCI
    • Cloud Experience ( AWS or Azure )
    • Automation Experience ( Ansible or terraform )
    • Experience configuring database network connectivity and encryption.
    • Experience using Oracle Real Application Clusters and implementation best-practices
    • Tech stack: Oracle, DBA, Database Administration, Database, SQL, PL/SQL, OCI, and Linux
    • Oracle Enterprise Manager
    • Cloud and database technology certifications preffered.

    **The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

    The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $116, $136, $150,480.00
