    Are you an experienced Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) ? Then we have an opportunity for you to support the Digital Theater Logistics Plan (DTLP) Joint Feasibility Study (JFS).The DTLP JFS will determine the operational necessity and technical feasibility of conducting a follow-on joint test (JT) or quick reaction test (QRT) to develop, test, and validate an operating instruction describing the business rules and data architecture needed to develop a Digital Theater Logistics Plan in support of US Combatant Commanders.

    As an Operations Research Analyst (ORSA) you will participate with a team of diverse individuals to:

    • A week in the life of an Operations Research Analyst (ORSA):

  • Assess the feasibility of conducting a Director, Operational Test and Evaluation (DOT&E), Joint Test and Evaluation Program (JT&E) project to develop, test and evaluate a DTLP describing operational logistics planning
  • Use advanced techniques to clean, normalize and analyze data used in mission-critical tests.
  • Support the test team in test design, establish of measures of performance and evaluation, and develop detailed test requirements to ensure accurate data collection and analysis.
  • Develop initial data collection and analysis plans, integrating automation where possible.
  • Offer risk reduction strategies, risk mitigation plans, and fully document existing processes, project enhancements, and test results.
  • Generate and execute a test plan to deliver Test Products.
  • Develop reports and support project reviews with Service, interagency, and Combatant Command organizations as necessary
    • Job Requirements
  • Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility
  • A Bachelor's degree in operations research or STEM field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of ORSA or similar analysis experience.
  • Knowledge and experience in test planning and design, execution, and evaluation.
  • Experience in Design of Experiments (DoE) and data collection.

    AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $150,000. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
