    Assistant Project Manager

    Company Summary

    Roles & Responsibilities

    · Reports to Senior PM

    · Maintain project bid files and document controls

    · Manage submittals and assist in draw applications

    · Provide information to home office for account payables

    · Evaluate bid requests in coordination with Owner

    · Assist in preparing detailed cost estimates.

    · Prepare takeoffs for assisting pricing from certain vendors.

    · Input and adjust quantities with a high level of accuracy.

    · Review project documents.

    · Manage client relationships.

    · Attend pre bid meetings.

    · Ensure company's standards of quality and safety are adhered to.

    · Quantify material costs and sub buy-outs for assigned projects.

    · Lead team in the creation of proposals and bids.

    · Develop bid documents for each project.

    · Assist Chief Estimator with detailed take-offs.

    · Present budget and value engineering ideas to Chief Estimator and/or owner and design team.

    · Assist in preparing detailed bid scopes for trade packages.

    · Manage bid list and coordinate with trade partners.

    · Establish project files on company's takeoff software (AutoDesk)

    · Create Request for Quotation (RFQ) for all vendors. Send out RFQ to vendors.

    · Establish project files on various "plan rooms". For example, Plan Hub.

    · Upload plans, revisions, addenda, etc to plan rooms.

    · Assist in "data dump" meeting with proposed project team.

    · Assist Senior PM with subcontractor buy-out.

    · Assemble quantities into project management tools with a high level of accuracy.

    · Work collaboratively with SR Project Manager, Superintendent, and project team to phase assigned projects.

    · Attend design development meetings.

    · Constantly communicate with our current vendors to maintain good relations.

    · Constantly outreach for new vendors. Be creative.

    · Participate in project team meetings and client meetings as needed.

    · This position has the opportunity to evolve into a leadership position with the right candidate.
