What we offer

Our CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) department ensures a smooth and secure operation at our international production sites. They are also responsible for the planning, construction, and development of our production facilities. The Process Control Technology (PCT) department covers all aspects of electrical power supply, data acquisition, process automation, and operation and monitoring with superior systems.

To improve the reliability and availability of our facilities, we are looking for a Reliability/Improvement Engineer (m/f/d) PCT for Basic Chemicals (BC) at our Dormagen site. A team led by a Reliability Program Manager identifies weaknesses, develops solution concepts, and implements them in projects with the involvement of engineering. As a Reliability/Improvement Engineer (m/f/d) PCT BC-DOR, you will support this program and take on the following tasks:

You independently lead PLT reliability projects and act as the owner representative for the BC-DOR reliability program.
You are responsible for the defect elimination process and the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the specific reliability strategy for the BC-DOR department, based on existing global and country-specific Covestro regulations and strategies.
You are responsible for the electrical and automation aspects of process optimization, including work processes and energy management.
You systematically analyze weaknesses and errors in electrical and automation installations
