    Assembly Manufacturing Technician

    HIGHLIGHTS
    Location: North Phoenix, AZ (at I-17 and Pinnacle Peak, with training in Chatsworth, CA)
    Position Type: Direct Hire or Contract to Hire
    Hourly / Salary: Based on Experience, up to $30 an hour
    Residency Status: US Citizen or Green Card Holder ONLY

    Our client is seeking an Assembly Manufacturing Technician to join their dynamic team.

    Job Description:

    Under general supervision, the employee will carry out various production assembly tasks on electronic components and final assemblies. They will also oversee the activities of final assembly employees and ensure adherence to processes. Strong communication skills are essential to provide clear directions to the team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of leadership experience, be well-versed in teamwork, and capable of training others. Responsibilities include supporting daily line operations, ensuring quality standards, and aiding in cross-training efforts. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting issues, assisting in prototype development, and handling technical tasks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform bench production assembly and synchronization of parts.
    • Maintain high-quality standards and meet production quotas.
    • Read, write, and follow instructions accurately.
    • Keep work areas organized and clean.
    • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
    • Utilize computer skills for various tasks.
    • Interpret documents and work from specifications.
    • Apply logical thinking to carry out instructions.
    • Be flexible to work overtime and travel if necessary.
    • Assist in troubleshooting and prototype development.

    Skills and Requirements:

    • ITAR compliance is mandatory.
    • Conduct visual inspections before assembly.
    • Acquire in-depth knowledge of all line operations.
    • Lead a team of 8+ individuals.
    • Demonstrate manual dexterity with tools and fixtures.
    • Adapt to changes and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
    • Display professionalism in all interactions.
    • Handle work challenges effectively.

    Experience:

    • Three or more years of relevant training or technical background.

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent GED
