I am self motivated and i am determined to fix problems and if i cant do it myself then i am not afraid to ask for help. On my free time when i get off work i dedicated to the gym as i am firm believer on improving my health and fitness. It is also a great stress reliever and therapy. On weekends i like to spend time with my father and grandmother along with my 3 dogs. My family is my day to day motivation because i want to provide and retire them from working. They are the most important thing to me.

Experience

USMC, MCRD San Diego — United States Marine

December 4th 2017 - PRESENT

I left to boot camp for the United States Marine Corps to become a Marine and I successfully accomplished my goal to be a United States Marine. I always wanted to become a Marine and test myself as an individual. I successfully earned the title of United States Marine. After that i left to Camp Pendleton to MCT

USMC, Camp Pendleton California — Marine Combat Training (MCT)

March 2018 - April 2018

I left again to accomplish another goal and that was to push myself to break another wall by becoming a rifleman. We did a lot of hikes with 70+ lbs on our backs and our 15 lbs M16A4  rifles during that period of MCT. I learned how to push not just myself but my “brothers” to accomplish their goals.

USMC, Fort Lee Virginia — Bulk Fuel Specialist

April 2018 - June 2018

I left once again to accomplish the job I was assigned to and I learned a lot from the school house that taught me about my MOS (1394) and they also physically trained to even break another wall mentally and also physically.

Mark Kia

June 2018-December 2018

Salesman and lot attendant.

I sold a  variety of cars and trucks as a car salesman. I later went down to the lot attendant position  because my manager got mad because I was still in training and he wanted me to continue to shadow other car salesmen when I wanted to prove him wrong.

As a lot attendant I would move a variety of cars and trucks from lot to lot.

Wallcon Construction

December 2018 -February 2019

Construction labor and heavy equipment operator.

I graded the pavement to make it a certain level and degree for houses for the water drainage. I later learned how to operate heavy machinery.

Mcfaddens and Lola Bar

June 2019- January 2020

Security Guard/Bouncer

I would de-escalate customers if they got too drunk, physical with other customers, and verbally aggressive towards staff and customers.

VASAFitness

December 2019-March 2020

Front desk attendant

I would sign up members, organize weights around the gym, and clean the locker rooms.

OSI

March 2020- October 2022

Installer/mover/warehouse/Lead

As an installer I built cubicles and installed computer systems, moved offices to a different location and moved different supplies with power jacks.

As a Lead, I would assemble a team to do different tasks that the job wanted us to complete within a day to 2 weeks.

Delta Security Services LLC.

October 2022-Present

Unarmed/Armed Guard

As a guard, I would de-escalate all types of stressful situations and provide high quality protection. I worked at a Marjuana Grow Facility as my first contracted job. I would do hourly rounds around the outside and inside of the facility and write reports and provide pictures to insure that the facility had no trespassers, no break ins, and no suspicious activity that happened on my shift. I was later promoted to supervisor for that site and was in charge of 8 guards and making sure they provided the same or better security than I provided.

I later got moved up to our patrol division for upholding the highest standard and helping be the face of the company and showing we show high quality security and protection. After 3 months of almost working 6-7 days a week and showing my dedication to our team, both owners and my operations manager asked me to become part of the Administrative Team and be the Scheduling/Hiring  Manager.

As the Scheduling/Hiring Manager I was tasked to always have coverage for all our contacts we had and upcoming contracts that would come up. These contacts I would hire for would be full time jobs and part time jobs/events. I was in charge of scheduling over 200 guards and hiring at the same time. After 7 months of being the manager I demoted myself because I wanted to get back in the field, where I can interact with people and be on my feet more instead of being in an office.

As the Patrol Division continuously increased they gave me the position of being the Patrol supervisor. My day to day task is to drive all over the valley to all of our job sites and make sure the guards that are posted are doing their hourly reports and providing the highest quality of security and protection. If I had a new guard that needed training I would spend 1-2 hours training them for the job site and give them the post orders that were needed. As I would do that I would also stop at “Job Site Hits” and remove trespassers such as loiters, homeless, and trespassers. As I would check up on guards on job sites and do my patrol hits, I would also have to be available to provide security and protection for ATM Technicians as they would open up multiple safes for ATMs and prevent robbery.

Education

Throughout my career as a guard I trained to use AXON Body Camera 3’s, TAser X-2, X-7, Sabre Red pepper spray, NRA firearm trainer, handcuff training, radio etiquette, and Funeral Escorts services.
