Position Summary:


Responsible for performing diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production equipment according to manufacturer's specifications to operate machinery safely and efficiently.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Report to and take direction from the Maintenance Manager
  • Perform diversified duties to help install and maintain production machines
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production hours and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Understand PLC operations and repair
  • Be able to change all tooling when needed on all machines
  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, Hi and Low voltage electrical on machines, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and electrical schematics in order to diagnose problems and replace or repair parts
  • Know how to use test equipment such as meters and make adjustments and repairs
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) on machines based on the manufactures guide lines and the maintenance manager scheduled program
  • Be qualified to assist in plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions.
  • Have knowledge of use of tools needed to do the correct job
  • Detect faulty machine operations, defective equipment and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, or Safety Manager
  • Be able to assist with evap coolers and air conditioners Including filter replacement, motor replacement, belts, bearings, and pumps
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or needed.
  • Required training: Lock Out/Tag Out, MCAQD reduce VOCs training, Hazards commutations training, Bloodborne, hearing protection, and OCM fork lift training and license requirement.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • 5+ years of manufacturing experience; strong hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and industrial skills with some PLC experience and HVAC.

From $20.00 per hour
