    Position: Legal Administrative Assistant (IP/Litigation)

    Locations: Washington D.C.

    Full Time: Yes - Hybrid – 3 days in-person; 2 days remote

    Salary range: $65,000-85,000/year (Will go higher for the right experience)

    Role Overview:

    This role will primarily assist attorneys in our Litigation and Intellectual Property practice groups. The ideal candidate will have solid administrative experience, particularly in litigation support, with a preference for experience in intellectual property matters. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a proactive approach to meeting deadlines. The role involves a mix of on-site and remote work, with flexibility required to accommodate attorney schedules and office needs.

    Responsibilities:

    • Manage electronic communications, including phone, email, and fax.
    • Provide professional and confidential client service.
    • Arrange travel and prepare itineraries.
    • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics.
    • Maintain calendars and prioritize meeting requests.
    • Prepare and format legal documents accurately and promptly.
    • Assist with proofreading and preparing litigation documents.
    • File documents electronically as needed.
    • Calendar deadlines and hearings.
    • Handle time entry and billing tasks.
    • Collaborate with accounting on billing accuracy.
    • Demonstrate effective teamwork and assist colleagues when possible.
    • Work cooperatively with other departments.
    • Exercise sound judgment and initiative in project management.
    • Interact professionally in a fast-paced environment.

    Qualifications:

    • 4-8 years of legal support experience required.
    • Experience in law firm litigation or corporate legal settings preferred.
    • Litigation experience, especially in intellectual property, highly desired.
    • Familiarity with federal courts preferred.
    • Some college education preferred, legal studies background a plus.
    • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills required.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) necessary.
    • Typing speed of 60 wpm preferred.
