    Our Job Opening:

    We are excited to announce a new opportunity at Chewy for a Salesforce Technical Architect. This role involves configuring and customizing Chewy's Salesforce applications to enhance our sales processes.

    Your Role:

    • Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, such as custom apps and integrations, utilizing Salesforce tools and third-party technologies.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective Salesforce solutions.
    • Develop high-quality code focusing on performance, scalability, and security.
    • Manage the Salesforce development lifecycle ensuring best practices are followed.
    • Utilize Salesforce APIs for system integrations.
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
    • Stay updated on Salesforce releases and technologies to drive innovation.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in Salesforce systems.
    • Work with cross-functional teams to enhance our Salesforce practice.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of Salesforce development experience.
    • Minimum 8 years of total software development experience.
    • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Component Framework, Aura, and Salesforce APIs.
    • Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices, architecture, and limitations.
    • Experience in Salesforce integrations and third-party applications.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    • Travel expectation: 10%.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Hands-On Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
    • Salesforce developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II) are a plus.
