Description

We are seeking a dedicated Enterprise Messaging and Domain Administrator to join our Information Technology division. This role focuses on the technical administration, management, and monitoring of our messaging and domain infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in system administration, with a keen focus on Microsoft Entra/O365, domain administration, and VMWare environments. This position requires an individual who is skilled at maintaining the effectiveness and efficiency of enterprise communication systems, ensuring seamless operation and integration with business objectives and processes.

Responsibilities

Act as a Microsoft Entra/O365 Administrator, supporting and maintaining the enterprise's MS Entra and O365 environments, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and implementation of archival and disaster recovery procedures.
Manage and maintain the active directory infrastructure, ensuring synchronization with the enterprise's identity management infrastructure.
Serve as a VMWare Administrator, implementing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting the virtual infrastructure.
Develop and implement strategies to improve or further leverage the messaging and domain infrastructure.
Collaborate with systems and network staff to ensure the smooth and reliable operation of software and systems for fulfilling business objectives and processes.
Design and perform audits of enterprise communication servers and systems.
Create and maintain documentation related to messaging infrastructure, active directory configuration, mapping, processes, patch maintenance, and service records.
Ensure the compatibility and interoperability of the messaging and domain infrastructure with critical business applications and systems.
Conduct research and evaluate hardware, software, and systems products to support purchasing efforts and technology implementation.

Basic Qualifications

A minimum of 5 years of lead technical experience in the fields of system administration, specifically with VMware ESXi, vCenter, and Horizon.
Proven working experience with Enterprise backup solutions.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a closely related field is required.
Microsoft Certification (MCTS, MCITP, Microsoft Certified Master, Microsoft Certified Architect) is highly preferred.
Additional experience with Dirsync, Cisco UCS, and technologies related to key responsibilities is desirable.
Familiarity with various software products including Microsoft Office, Visio, MS Project, Windows Server, VPN, SSL, DNS, WINS, Outlook, SharePoint.
