    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Illuminate Minds is seeking a Child Behavior Specialist (CBS) / Behavior Technician (BT) to implement in-home based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). As a CBS/BT, you will work with our clients and families under the direct supervision of a Clinical Supervisor. The treatment plans implemented are designed to address skills acquisition as well as addressing challenging behaviors that may occur in a variety of settings.

    Responsibilities:

    Implement in-home based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) treatment programs to children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

    Work with clients and families under the direct supervision of a Clinical Supervisor

    Address skills acquisition as well as addressing challenging behaviors that may occur in a variety of settings

    Requirements:

    Job Requirements:

    High School Diploma or equivalent

    RBT Certification preferred

    Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) preferred

    Bilingual Preferred: Armenian or Spanish

    A valid California Driver's License

    Reliable transportation & proof of auto insurance

    Negative TB Result

    Background Check

    Physical Requirements:

    Must have the ability to lift and carry clients and maintain a variety of postures including but not limited to kneeling, squatting, standing, sitting on the floor for extended periods of time, and using hands to touch, feel, or grasp objects.

    Must have the ability to use heights and ladder climbing as needed.

    Must be able to move quickly and efficiently in a busy environment with busy schedules

    Must be able to view e-mail messages from the front line of work (i.e., computers, tables/toys, etc.)
