    Description

    We are seeking a Manager, Property Tax & Reporting. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting/forecasting, compliance, and reporting of property taxes. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of technical proficiency and the ability to effectively engage with multiple departments, tax jurisdictions, and senior management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Manage all aspects of property tax budgeting, forecasting, compliance, variance analysis, and reporting to upper management.

    Independently develop models for monitoring current and anticipated property tax expenses.

    Establish and maintain the property tax database and associated reports.

    Distribute reports and engage with senior management and various departments to address inquiries.

    Collaborate closely with the Property Tax Department team to formulate and supervise property tax budgets and strategic plans.

    Monitor forecasts, actuals, and discrepancies from the budget and deliver reports on variations and projections.

    Interact directly with multiple property tax jurisdictions to ensure compliance tasks are completed accurately and on time.

    Lead efforts to expand areas of responsibility and assets under management.

    Support the Appeal Group by providing the necessary documentation and tools for property tax appeals.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

    Minimum of 6 years of experience in property tax, FP&A, accounting, or a related field.

    Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of data

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities within strict deadlines.

    Experience working with senior management and cross-functional teams is preferred.
