- Create technical drawings, specifications, and design calculations for water and wastewater projects
- Collaborate with diverse project teams to devise innovative and cost-effective solutions
- Perform hydraulic analyses, system modeling, and simulations
- Conduct site visits, audits, and field investigations to collect pertinent data
- Prepare and review project reports, proposals, and technical documentation
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources
- Offer technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians
- Foster and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- 3-4 years of experience preferred
- Licensure not required, but significant experience is necessary
- Strong knowledge of water and wastewater treatment processes
- Familiarity with water distribution and wastewater collection systems
- Proficiency in hydraulic modeling software (e.g., EPANET, WaterCAD)
- Experience with AutoCAD and other design software
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to project sites
