    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Introducing Nestl Purina's new Williamsburg Township, Ohio, factory - just 30 miles east of Cincinnati. This world-class factory will be built from the ground up to produce a wide variety of some of the most trusted and beloved pet care brands in the U.S. Our passionate team in Williamsburg Township will work in an environment that values safety, the latest technology in manufacturing and a culture of learning.     As a Production Training Lead, you will play a key role in the education and training of technical skills in the production process. You'll provide leadership and guidance to the factory using competency building techniques to build capability within the production technician team. You'll support coaching and seek opportunities to enhance training material to facilitate production onboarding modeling a safe, quality, high performing standards culture.

    This position will require travel up to 50% for training purposes to other Nestle Purina operating facilities until the Williamsburg Township facility reaches operation and/or you are fully qualified in your role. The travel will significantly reduce once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Act as a subject matter lead in assigned area of responsibility to provide support, guidance, and coaching on competency building within production technicians using adult learning principles and training content creation.
    • Collaborate with training team to create and deliver onboarding content within area of responsibility
    • Conduct training and progression evaluations for production technicians in area of responsibility with support of team leaders
    • Work closely with subject matter experts in different disciplines across the factory to ensure accurate and comprehensive training materials for area of responsibility
    • Champion safety, quality, and performance standard routines through coaching and modeling strong behaviors to the production technicians
    • Provide coaching and training in technical skillsets to various production team members
    • Assist on special teams and projects as needed
    Basic Qualifications
    • High school diploma/GED equivalent with
    • 6+ months of training facilitation experience, preferably within a fast-paced, production manufacturing, industrial or related environment
    • Must be willing to travel up to 50% for training purposes until factory operational startup and/or you are fully qualified in your role. There will be little to no travel required once the Williamsburg Township facility is operational.
    The approximate starting hourly pay for this position is $33.00 an hour. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
