The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Business Development Director. Located at *Napleton Clermont Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram.

The Business Development Director is responsible for hiring, training, managing, and motivating the Business Development Representatives who contact potential buyers with the goal of scheduling appointments for the buyers to meet with our sales representatives.

Business Development Director Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute outbound internet and phone campaigns
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly sales forecast
  • Manage and track all lead sources
  • Ensure all leads are followed up with in a timely manner
  • Manage daytoday business of the business development center
  • Collect and analyze business metrics including but not limited to, closing ratios for both phone and internet leads
  • Provide training and ongoing support to the Business Development Representatives to help the team understand and achieve the dealership's goals
  • Work closely with executive and department managers
  • Review lead source performance and productivity
  • Report on lead source performance
  • Report on Business Development Representative performance
  • Lead by example, showing a willingness to engage in every aspect of the Business Development Representative role, including but not limited to responding to internet leads, taking inbound, making outbound calls, and setting appointments

Business Development Director Requirements:


  • Effective communication, organization, time management, computer, and basic math skills
  • Team player with positive energy and an eagerness to improve
  • Competitive and selfmotivated attitude that thrives on goals
  • Previous leadership experience
  • Previous Business Development management experience
  • Previous automotive industry experience
