- Prepare & review workpapers for internal and external tax return preparation. Including individuals, partnerships, trusts, s-corporations & private foundations.
- Review tax returns prepared both internally and by external accounting firms.
- Support internal accounting staff by reviewing depreciation, amortization, tax capital & other tax focused schedules in preparation of year-end financial reporting.
- Assist with annual compliance and responses to audit and inquiry notices from various taxing jurisdictions.
- Participate in short and long-term income & estate tax planning, tax credit utilization & other ad-hoc projects.
- Bachelors degree in accounting; CPA certification preferred but not required.
- 3 - 5 years of progressive experience in taxation accounting, preferably high-net worth individual and/or real estate industry concentration.
- Proficient in Excel, accounting, and tax preparation software.
- Strong analytical skills, superior attention to detail, motivated & self-starter.

Overview:
The Senior Tax Accountant will assist in managing and overseeing tax compliance, planning, and reporting processes.
