Tax Preparer/accountant - New Hyde Park, United States - SFW
Description
Tax Responsibilities:
- Prepare individual and business tax returns
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients
- Research and interpret tax laws and regulations
- Identify potential tax credits, deductions, and exemptions for clients
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary financial information
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations
Accounting Responsibilities:
- Communicating with the clients regarding any and all accounting aspects
- Prepare and maintain general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts
- Maintain and recognize fixed asset schedules
- Capture and reconcile payroll entries and sales entries using third party reports
- Generate monthly financials and review with the client

Pay:
$45, $70,000.00 per year
