Position Summary
The position will be responsible for research data collection, data management and analysis in support of NIH funded studies in HIV prevention and network science.
The primary project will be the RESPOND study described below; the position will occasionally need to support other related projects.
Duties will be tailored to the employee's skills.Position Duties

Rapid Response to Incident HIV Infection through Social Network Strategies and Molecular Epidemiology to Inform Partner Services, or Carolinas RESPOND, is a 5-year study that began in 2022.
The goal is to develop and implement a strategy to improve engagement in HIV care and prevention services for gender and sexual minority groups in the Charlotte region.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a discipline related to the field assigned and one year of related training or experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to interact with participants, investigators, study sponsors, IRB, and support staff. Highly organized and ability to work with minimal supervision. Proficient in performing data analyses in SAS, STATA or R.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience
One year of clinical research experience preferred. Prior experience in HIV research, care, or advocacy.
