Savannah Jones

Current PGY2 critical care pharmacy resident in a large academic medical center looking for a clinical specialist position. My areas of interest include neuro and pulmonary critical care along with teaching and mentoring pharmacy learners of all levels. 

I have spent the last 2 years doing my residency training at a 950 bed academic medical center with level 1 trauma designation, a comprehensive stroke center, and a comprehensive burn center. As a critical care resident my primary role was to learn how to best care for the sickest patients within our hospital and to develop as a pharmacy educator. My weekend and weeknight staffing responsibilities included day time and evening shifts covering either the medical ICU and floor pulmonary patients or the surgical/trauma, burn, and neuro ICUs. 

I received my BS in Biochemistry from the College of Charleston in 2016 and then attended the UNC Eshelman School of Pharmacy and graduated with my PharmD in Spring 2020. Following pharmacy school, I completed a PGY1 in acute care clinical pharmacy and am finalizing my PGY2 in critical care pharmacy practice.
