    We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Tax Analyst with a focus on indirect and/or property tax to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in tax compliance, research, planning, and audit defense. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively navigate complex tax regulations, analyze data, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize tax positions.

    Responsibilities:

    Tax Compliance:

    • Oversee and manage the preparation and filing of indirect and/or property tax returns for multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
    • Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.
    • Develop and implement processes to streamline tax compliance procedures and enhance efficiency.

    Tax Planning and Strategy:

    • Analyze business operations and transactions to identify tax planning opportunities and minimize tax liabilities.
    • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement tax-efficient strategies aligned with business objectives.
    • Provide guidance on the tax implications of proposed business initiatives, acquisitions, and restructurings.

    Process Improvement and Documentation:

    • Identify opportunities to enhance tax processes, controls, and systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Document tax policies, procedures, and methodologies to maintain internal controls and facilitate knowledge transfer.
    • Implement best practices and standards to promote consistency and scalability across tax functions.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • 5+ years of progressive experience in tax compliance and planning, with a focus on indirect and/or property tax.
    • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations pertaining to indirect and/or property tax.
    • Experience with tax software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
