    Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a _*Senior Tax Analyst*_ to join our client in _*Franklin, TN*_ The Senior Tax Analyst will play a crucial role in our clients tax department, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local Tax laws.

    You will work closely with the Senior Tax Manager to handle a variety of tax-related responsibilities with precision and efficiency.

    Responsibilities:

    • Ensure timely and accurate tax filings for sales, personal, and real estate property taxes in assigned states, maintaining comprehensive records.
    • Proactively obtain and manage business licenses as required.
    • Coordinate financial data between internal departments and external auditors for tax reporting.
    • Maintain relationships with departments to ensure accurate fixed asset information.
    • Resolve discrepancies in asset listings and stay informed about site details for accurate reporting.
    • Research and resolve tax issues, identifying opportunities for tax reduction and protesting excessive valuations.
    • Manage property tax software, analyzing data and implementing features for efficiency.
    • Develop and present property tax-related reports for the finance department.
    • Plan and implement strategies to streamline tax procedures.
    • Monitor real property tax bills and stay informed about new tax filing requirements.
    • Provide training for temporary staff as needed.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelors degree in business, accounting, or finance, or equivalent experience.
    • 5-7 years of experience working with for-profit/non-profit entities, navigating complex tax issues in multi-state environments.
    • Proficiency in Federal, State, and Local tax laws and regulations.
    • Strong analytical skills with experience applying financial models to strategic initiatives.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, MapInfo, Google Earth Pro, RadioSoft, and analytics tools.
    • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
    • Ability to work independently and establish/meet performance goals.
    • Adaptability to change while maintaining productivity and a positive outlook.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to develop sincere business relationships while maintaining confidentiality.
