Job DescriptionHelloHere are the details for the position Title: System Engineer (AWS, MS InTune, Deployment) Location: Richardson, TX (in person)Duration: Long TermBrief Role DescriptionThe Systems Engineer will be accountable for providing expertise in the deployment and day-to-day operation of all physical and virtual server infrastructure and executing to established standards for the maintenance and configuration in support of strategic business goals. This position reports to the Manager of Infrastructure and Security in the Information Security & IT group.Accountabilities

Execute upon established standards and procedures to ensure that the physical, virtual, and cloud server infrastructure is ready and able to scale to meet the demands of the business: The Engineer will ensure that current systems operate at peak efficiency, meeting or exceeding uptime SLAs. The Engineer will also
- Provide oversight for monitoring and management tools, proactively responding to changing conditions to prevent system failures.
- Manage users, computers, and associated policies through Windows Active Directory Services, Microsoft Intune, and related tools to (Apply Active Directory/ InTune policies etc to) ensure compliance with security policies and best practices with regard to system use and health.
- Manage the day-to-day operation and validation of all server backup systems.
- Participate in the deployment (or redeployment) of physical, virtual, and cloud hosts as required and manage the maintenance of all deployed hosts.
Create and maintain effective documentation on systems architecture: The Engineer will create documentation on the data flow, systems architecture, and daily operation and troubleshooting for all server infrastructure and maintain that documentation in an ongoing fashion to ensure that all stakeholders have access to relevant and useful information to support their use of those systems.
Function as an escalation point for technical support and troubleshooting: The Engineer will be on call as a Tier 2 escalation point for user support requests for systems and will apply expertise both for consulting and hands-on troubleshooting/ problem resolution.
- Coordinate support activities with external vendors where required for problem resolution

General Responsibilities

Provide timely updates to management on open issues and projects
Coordinate activities with (applying enterprise wide) Information Security and IT teams to ensure availability and security requirements are met consistently
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or a related field or equivalent in work experience.
Minimum of 3++ years of systems engineering or systems administration experience, with emphasis in VMWare, Microsoft, (AWS) and hybrid cloud environments (specifically AWS).
Demonstrated subject matter expertise in at least 1 of the following: AWS EC2, Virtualized System Design and Administration, PKI and Certificate Services, Active Directory Domain/Forest Design and Administration, SCOM/SCCM, or VMWare vSphere.
MCSE, MCSA, VCP, VCAP, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or similar industry certification preferred
Experience with PowerShell or AWS Lambda scripting preferred
Experience working cross functionally in disparate geographies required
Experience providing technical training to non-technical personnel preferred
Ability to travel approximately 20% of the time
