    As the Production Control Planner at VulcanForms, Devens, MA, you will support the procurement of external material by ensuring that all systems and processes are designed for providing zero stock-out situations.

    You will also ensure that shop floor execution starts on time and that material progresses through the manufacturing process on time.

    We are seeking an experienced professional to be part of our production team. Execute and monitor the planning and replenishment of all materials required for product delivery and machine builds.
    Work fluidly in a highly cross-functional team environment involving Production, Procurement, Logistics etc.
    Development of balanced factory optimization schedules to ensure customer demands and factory utilization targets are achieved
    Engages with engineering plans and production constraints to establish production schedules, labor loading, and capacity requirements
    Manage builds and inventory targets
    Analyze results of the MRP system along with system-generated part replenishment recommendations.

    Integrate with Warehouse and Production staff to help support shop floor operations, work order on-time starts, and prevent any work stoppages.

    Manage and report on the production progress of customer deliverables, including tracking external vendor operations.
    Attend daily meetings to collect status and escalate risk as needed
    Work cross-functionally to expedite material shortages with Procurement, Receiving, Quality, and other production areas.

    Work with the Machine Build Team to help with the assembly of the machines to ensure cross-functional alignment and timeliness.

    3+ years of manufacturing or supply chain experience
    Excellent analytical, mathematical, and creative problem-solving skills
    Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems - Epicor preferred
    Thorough understanding of master production scheduling, capacity planning and forecasting principles.
    Excellent listening, interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills

    Experience within Machine Assembly and or Manufacturing environment
    Excited about taking on new challenges in the metal additive manufacturing industry and working in a fast-paced startup environment
