Summary

Assist facilities management with all tasks necessary to ensure the building, facilities areas, and production run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.

Main task is ownership and development of the CMMS system as well as the building management system.
Roles & Responsibilities

  • Owns the Maintenance Planning and Scheduling System. Leads the scheduling of maintenance work as dictated by the annual maintenance plan, upkeeps the revision of Maintenance Technical Documentation, as necessary
  • Reviews project requests and bids; prioritizes work orders and projects.
  • Responsible to maintain all plant equipment records in CMMS, and that all maintenance work including planned and unplanned work is scheduled through CMMS. This includes followup to ensure all labor hours, materials, and necessary notes or procedural changes associated with the work are accurately recorded within CMMS, and work is closed in a timely manner.
  • Assist the Facilities Manager in preparing budget requests for equipment, supplies, and materials.
  • Coordinates and schedules improvement and/or repairs projects with contractors
  • Creates CAPEX requests for large scale projects initiated by the facilities team
  • Completes breakdown analysis and drive results in Planned and Unplanned downtime and accountable to deliver KPI-Results
  • Records, tracks, and stores regulatory paperwork or work orders to ensure compliancy with DEP, OSHA, EPA, and town regulations
  • Performs inspections of facilities and grounds to monitor compliance with OSHA rules and regulations, checks for possible safety hazards, and creates documented electronic work orders for recommendations to avoid future accidents.
  • Deliver weekly Facilities Dashboard to team and make recommendations along with the Facilities Manager
  • Regular and reliable attendance is required in performance of job
  • Adheres to all Safety and GMP regulations.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of CMMS system and BAS Systems
  • High energy, productive, team player.
  • Documentation organization
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Has the ability to work collaboratively and demonstrate effective listening skills.
  • Demonstrates commitment to safety.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Education & Experience

  • 35 years administrative experience required
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, computer printouts, system requirements and programs, contracts, manuals is a plus
  • 2 years CMMS admin experience (Dude Solutions preferred)
