The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving private event sales growth and revenue, by developing and executing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering relationships with new and existing clients
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targetsGenerate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship-buildingManage and grow relationships with existing clients to drive repeat businessConduct site visits with potential clients to showcase event spaces and servicesNegotiate and finalize event contracts with clientsCollaborate with internal teams, including culinary, operations, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of eventsMonitor and report on sales performance and provide regular updates to managementStay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and market changesAttend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build brand awareness and drive salesRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of sales management experience in the hospitality or event industry, in a high-volume environmentStrong track record of driving revenue growth and meeting sales targetsExcellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in MS Office and sales management softwareAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsExperience in managing events of varying sizes and complexityDelphi software experience is a plusDisclaimer:The above job description is meant to describe the general nature and level of work being performed; and is not intended to be construed as an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties and skills required for the position.
