Well establish company, with ample opportunity for growth, in the Anne Arundel county area is searching for a strong accountant to step into their Financial Reporting Manager Role
This position will play a key role in their financial reporting team with supervisory responsibilities of a Senior and Staff direct report and reports up to the Financial Reporting Controller.
Oversees the preparation of monthly financial statements encompassing multiple countries and currencies, ensuring a precise and timely close process.
Reviews Executive Financial Reporting Packages meticulously to guarantee accuracy and collaborates with Leadership to enhance or establish reporting mechanisms for improved efficiency.
Prepares various monthly and weekly reports, including operational department financial statements and labor reporting.Actively participates in the annual budget process by providing webform inputs, conducting account analysis, coordinating team inputs, and reviewing estimates for reasonableness.
Collaborate with various components of the organization to analyze detailed budgets by account and work with Directors of Financial Operations and Regional Controllers to provide detailed financial analysis of monthly financial statements relative to budget, year over year, and trending dataAnalyzes financial data from all organizational levels, including entities, regions, and departments.
Manage, develop, and evaluate Financial Analysts
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
4-7 years of accounting or finance experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and its impact on financial reporting
1+ years of supervisory experience
This is a great role to transition into corporate financial reporting from public accounting with a great team
