- Bachelor's degree in business administration or 5 years progressive experience in medical accounts receivable.
- Five years progressive experience in office management.
- Credit and collections experience.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Establishes internal controls to ensure timely and accurate billing to third party carriers.
- Develops applicable Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for overall department and functional areas. Monitors and reports on KPI's weekly. Develops action plans when KPI performance is not meeting standards.
- Maintains days in accounts receivable below industry standards.
- Achieves Cash Target Goals in coordination with Finance.
- Prepares statistical, analytical and management reports as requested by CFO and VP of Finance.
- Leads performance improvement initiatives related to patient accounting/revenue cycle. Identifies improvement opportunities, develops and implements improvement plans, and monitors the effectiveness of the plans.
- Plays an active role in setting standards and evaluating performance of patient accounting operations to ensure quality and productivity standards are being met.
- Communicates with other directors to establish accountability and coordination between Patient Accounting and other Revenue Cycle departments/operations.
- Innovative in the management of the Epic EHR system.
- Management of all vendor services.
- Any other duties as assigned by Woman's Hospital.

Description
The Director, Revenue Cycle is an administrative position. This position is responsible for the direction and oversight of patient accounting. Patient accounting includes management of operations, staff and regulatory requirements for claims submission, remittance processing, insurance follow-up and patient collections. Performs various duties assigned according to policies and procedures and the mission of Woman's Hospital.

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Range:
Salary/Exempt
$102,000 - $151,000; based on work experience
