    Description

    We're adding a detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Contract Specialist. This role offers significant growth potential, paving the way for a future position as Contracts Manager.

    As a Contract Specialist, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our projects run smoothly from start to finish. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate closely with project executives, managers, and engineers, contributing to our success while enhancing your career.     Key Responsibilities:

    - Draft and Revise Contracts: Create, prepare, review, and edit a variety of contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

    - Collaborate with Teams: Work with project executives, managers, and engineers to gather specific project details and ensure all contract documents are well-maintained.

    - Negotiate Terms: Skillfully negotiate terms and conditions with vendors and subcontractors, maintaining excellent working relationships.

    Coordinate Documentation: Manage initial project documents and vendor compliance, including insurances, certified payroll, W-9, bonds, credit applications, and tax exemptions.

    Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance business processes and implement changes to streamline operations.

    Customer Interaction: Meet with customers to discuss legal and business matters, ensuring all their needs are met.

    Qualifications:

    - Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Business Management is preferred

    - Legal and Contract Knowledge: Solid understanding of legal terminology and contract regulations, with experience in contract management and negotiation.

    - Attention to Detail: Impeccable attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines.

    - Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

    - Technical Proficiency: Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with DocuSign or SAGE Construction is a plus.

    - Industry Experience: Experience in construction or government work is highly advantageous.
