The Boeing Company is currently seeking a
Contract Management Specialist (Associate or Mid-Level) to support the Vertical Lift Programs in
Ridley Park, PA.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the H-47 Chinook Program Contracting team and play a key role in the Vertical Lift business as the Chinook evolves into a new era of Heavy Lift Helicopter dominance


Position Responsibilities:


  • Exercises appropriate signature authority in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property to support company strategies
  • Presents business solutions to preserve and expand the business
  • Represents the company in external negotiations to a diverse set of customers
  • Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding complex contractual agreements for The Boeing Company
  • Coordinates and partners with other internal functional disciplines
  • Summarizes contractual issues, develops creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation
  • Supports contracting strategies and review solicitations
  • Ensures compliance with company and United States Government (USG) contracts requirements

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a "U.S. Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R is required. "U.S. Person" includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1+ years of experience in proposal development, contract negotiations and/or contract execution with U.S. Government Customers
  • 1+ years of experience working contracts with U.S. Department of Defense, Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) and/or Foreign Military Sales (FMS) customers
  • 1+ years of experience working with acquisition policies, e.g., United States Government (USG) Federal Acquisition Regulation/Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (FAR/DFARS) regulations

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • 1+ years of experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • Ability to multitask and handle multiple proposals at the same time
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher

Typical Education & Experience:


Associate (Level 2):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).


Mid-Level (Level 3):

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range (Level 2): $72,250 - $97,750

Summary pay range (Level 3): $83,300 - $112,700
