Description
As a Supply Chain Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our supply chain operations.Your key responsibilities will include:
Supply Chain Strategy:
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Supplier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.
Inventory Management:
Optimize inventory levels to meet demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
Logistics and Distribution:
Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure efficient movement of goods.
Demand Planning:
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to forecast demand and plan production and procurement activities accordingly.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction within the supply chain, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Risk Management:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate supply chain disruptions and ensure business continuity.
Requirements:
BA in Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a similar relevant field.
Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager for 5 years.
Minimum 10 years of experience in leadership roles.
Experience with working and/or managing in a TQM and ISO 9000 environment
Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated Project Management skills of group projects.
Team player
Good time-management skills
Great interpersonal and communication skills
Strong analytical skills in root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive actions.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple/detail-oriented tasks.
High level of computer literacy with Microsoft Office software- proficient in developing spreadsheets (Excel preferred), and word processing.
