Position Overview: Are you a seasoned accounting professional with a passion for making a difference? We are seeking a Senior Accountant to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial data. In this role, you will play a critical part in managing our finances, providing strategic insights, and supporting our organization's mission of service and philanthropy.

Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to support audits and tax filings.
Provide guidance and mentorship to accounting staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional development.
Collaborate with program managers and senior leadership to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
CPA certification or advanced degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a non-profit setting.
Strong understanding of non-profit accounting principles and regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
