    JOB TITLE: Senior ServiceNow Developer at Acuity Inc.

    Acuity Inc. is expanding its team and is currently seeking Senior ServiceNow Developers to support one of our top federal clients. We specialize in developing state-of-the-art, functional applications for various government agencies. Our team is action-oriented, known for implementing innovative technology solutions to tackle complex challenges. We prioritize usability, user experience, and design in our applications to break free from clunky government software stereotypes. Utilizing modern design and project management tools like rapid prototyping and agile methodologies, we create customized solutions that are user-friendly and align with business objectives, aiming to deliver products in months rather than years. Please note that only candidates from DC, MD, or VA will be considered for this government role.



    Responsibilities



    The Senior ServiceNow Developer role involves leading the identification, refining, organization, documentation, and implementation of business processes for the Department of State. In this position, you will collaborate closely with clients and subject matter experts to develop or redesign processes effectively.

    • Provide application support for configuring, customizing, and administering the ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
    • Offer expert advice on the ITSM Product Suite, including Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, and their relationships with the CMDB
    • Provide application support for configuring platform capabilities such as Knowledge Management, Service Request Management, and Service Portal
    • Implement core functionality within a standard ServiceNow system
    • Create workflows and integrations using the latest ServiceNow technologies
    • Develop Automated Test Framework (ATF) tests for produced code
    • Collaborate within an agile scrum team, contributing to story point estimation, managing stories throughout their lifecycle, and actively engaging in agile ceremonies
    • Manage multiple tasks, prioritizing based on client needs while upholding quality standards and work performance
    • Participate in client engagements as part of a team
    • Readily adapt to evolving customer environments and adjust processes to drive innovation
