- Project Planning and Initiation:
- Collaborate with clients and design professionals to define project objectives, scope, and budget.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the pre-construction phase, including bid and subcontractor selection.
- Project Execution:
- Lead project teams and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and safety, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment.
- Manage and track project budgets, expenses, and change orders.
- Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong client relationships.
- Communicate project status, updates, and address client concerns promptly.
- Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and meeting project objectives.
- Team Leadership:
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including site superintendents and field personnel.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
- Promote a strong culture of safety and compliance with all regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate project records, including contracts, change orders, and project documentation.
- Prepare and deliver regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Project Manager.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, codes, and regulations.
- Proficiency in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- OSHA 30-Hour Certification preferred.
