    IT Project Manager


    Acting independently with limited supervision, the IT Project Manager is responsible for the management of multiple projects within the IT department, or phases of larger and more complex projects or programs.

    This role serves their project teams with traditional PM scheduling and coordination, but also extend significantly into client-facing communications and relationship building, and informal team leadership.

    This role requires a detail-oriented, client-focused, transformational leader that thrives in a fast-paced environment. Experience in leading technology solutions is required with a firm understanding of Waterfall and Agile methodologies.

    Project Initiation
    Collaborate to define scope, requirements, project governance, design, testing, timeline, adherence to company PMO standards, RACI, resource, and budget.

    This role requires exceptional communication skills and an ability to build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved.

    Project Execution
    Manage projects using waterfall or Scaled Agile methodology. Maintain project documentation in an organized system. Raise Issues/Blockers early. Acts as liaison, effectively communicating with clients, executives, management, and fellow team members regularly on project status. Maintain project in the appropriate project management tools.

    Project Reporting

    Must be able to manage changes to project scope, cost, and schedule, provide forecasting, Earned Value Management (EVM), risk analysis assessment, and issue tracking and resolution.

    Project Management Training
    Participate in leading ministry-wide project management training. Contribute to the Project Management Center Of Excellence. Provide PM consulting ministry departments.

    Work Experience
    2+ years in large-scale IT project management, 5+ years in IT project management, 5+ years in large-scale enterprise efforts
