    The Boise Heart Institute clinic is looking to hire a motivated and personable Medical Assistant for our award winning and growing Heart Institute family

    1500 Sign-On Bonus Offered to external candidates
    ~ This position will help support surgeons, cardiologists, APP providers, PAs, and NPs in General Cardiology and a variety of sub-specialties such as Electrophysiology, Cardiothoracic, Women's Health, and post chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
    ~ The clinic offers a lot of educational opportunities with bi-weekly lunch and learns with providers and content experts. They also offer online learning modules during orientation to help with cardiac knowledge base.
    ~ This clinic boasts a great team environment and friendly providers that encourage learning.
    ~ The Heart Institute is the region's only Women's Heart program and also offers state-of-the-art Heart Centers in Boise and Nampa and outreach patient care to other cities and towns in the Treasure Valley

    You will complete prior authorizations and patient calls, and tasks in the in-basket.
    40 hours per week, hour days, or - 8 hour days, during the week, Monday - Friday.

    American Association of Medical Assistants (CMA)
    American Medical Technologists (RMA)
    National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA)
    American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)

    Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers certification from either AHA, ARC or the Military Training Network is required at hire.

    For new MA graduates, minimum of 100 hour externship or MA work experience is required, even with MA certification.
