    Description

    The Accounting Manager will lead a team of 3 accountants in analyzing and reporting on financial statements. It is an exciting opportunity with a fast growing team that provides the opportunity to be part of a ground up build out.

    Our client is a successful growing NFP organization based in NYC with a long standing interest in supporting the next generation They work to ensure that there is accessibility at every level for students and educational opportunities that exceed expectations cross the tri-state area.

    Description

    • Month end close processes, reconciliations, GAAP comp[liance, P&L reviews, and general financial flow
    • Ensure accuracy and timeliness of income statements, balance sheets & other financial reports.
    • Manage and support 3 team members in the coordination of field work for the annual audit process and work with group finance team to address selections and resolution.

    Profile

    • Candidates from both the non-profit and private sectors will be considered.
    • Brings transformation experience and is a change agent.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required, and an active CPA certification is desired.
    • Management experience of medium sized teams, 2+ years of experience.
    • Bubbly, outgoing, stakeholder & client facing personality.
