    As an Internal Audit Intern, you will learn and perform financial audit procedures under the direction of our Internal Audit Manager/Compliance Officer. By the end of the internship, you will be able to describe audit processes, perform audit steps, prepare and describe any findings, and be confident and proud of the finished product. The ideal candidate will be open to temporary work, has a drive for research and learn about financial compliance, policies, and procedures, and is able to work within a team.

    Job Type: Temporary

    Location: Fort Wayne, IN

    Schedule:8:00am-5:00pm, Tuesday-Thursday, 24 hours per week minimum.

    Responsibilities:
    • Under the direction of the Internal Auditor, accomplish objectives and assigned work tasks.
    • Provide excellent experience in dealing with real life auditing situations.
    • Improve upon confidence by making sound judgements and decisions and gain knowledge with auditing procedures.
    • Perform financial audit procedures and reports findings and recommendations.
    • Work on special projects and assignments, as necessary.
    • Assist the audit team by performing research and analysis.
    Skills & Qualifications

    Required Skills:
    • General experience and knowledge with computers and technological applications.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, multitask, and solve problems with sound reasoning.
    • Ability to apply basic research and learning functions.
