An Advanced Practice Registered Nurse within Juvenile Justice Services will diagnose and formulate treatment plans for our youth by assessing physical, mental, social and economic needs of the patients. You shall provide medical consultation to juveniles in need in accordance with the nurse practitioner practice act.
Our Registered Nurses within JJS perform a full range of nursing tasks, in a variety of settings and with a variety of patient groups. They exercise independent and professional discretion with the youth that they work with.
Principal Duties
Has their licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state of Utah.
